What I love about a good conversation is that it offers more to be said at a later date. A bright conversation balances statement with suggestion, curiosity with truth, depth with levity. The solid, rectangular strokes in this piece speak to the unfinished lines of the second mug, the curious reach of the lavender bridges the divide between light and dark, the boldness of color and solidity of the objects sit floating in air. Not all conversations can have this kind of nuance, but my favorite ones do.
